A Regency Gothic rectory in Hampshire was sympathetically extended and an adjoining garage/barn was incorporated into the house to become a Games Room. A new lighting and A/V scheme was discreetly added and the ceiling of a low central corridor was lifted to enhance the feeling of space. A formal dining room was reinstated and a new bedroom and bathroom layout on the first floor allowed a partitioned window to be opened up. The bathrooms were designed with book matched marble and traditional bespoke storage. The interior design of the main rooms reflects the architecture’s Regency ebullience and includes strong colour and eclectic elements such as an industrial mirror, Regency brown wood furniture and an Emily Young sculpture.
